Shopify — Redesign

Redesign a Shopify store that's holding you back.

If your store is live but dated, slow or quietly leaking sales, a redesign focused on conversion usually pays for itself.

When a redesign is worth it

Stores age. What felt sharp at launch gathers apps, images and half-finished ideas until it's slower and busier than it was — and the conversion rate drifts down so gradually that nobody notices until they compare a year on year.

A redesign is worth doing when the business has clearly outgrown the store: traffic is decent but sales aren't following, the site is awkward to update, or it simply doesn't look like the quality of what you sell.

We'll tell you if you don't need one

Not every underperforming store needs rebuilding. Sometimes the problem is three fixable things — speed, weak product pages and a checkout with too much friction. We audit first and say so honestly, because selling you a rebuild you didn't need is a poor way to earn a referral.

What a redesign covers

  • A full audit of where visitors currently drop off
  • Redesigned templates built around the buying journey
  • Product pages rebuilt to answer objections and show social proof
  • Speed work — images, apps and code weight
  • Checkout friction reduced and express payments enabled
  • Careful preservation of URLs and rankings you already have
  • Analytics set up so you can actually see the improvement

Rankings stay intact

A redesign is where a lot of stores accidentally lose their search visibility — URLs change, redirects get forgotten, and months of SEO evaporate. We map every URL before anything moves and redirect properly.

Not sure what's wrong yet? Our guide to why Shopify stores don't convert walks through the nine most common causes.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose my Google rankings in a redesign?

Not if it's handled properly. We map existing URLs and put 301 redirects in place so the equity you've built carries over. Losing rankings during a redesign is avoidable and almost always comes down to skipped redirect planning.

Can you redesign just part of the store?

Yes. Often the highest-return work is focused on product and collection pages rather than the whole site, because that's where most visitors actually land and decide.

How do I know a redesign will pay for itself?

A small improvement in conversion rate on traffic you already pay for is usually worth more than the build cost. We look at your current numbers first so the case is based on your actual traffic, not a generic promise.

Do you work with stores you didn't build?

Most of our redesign work is on stores built by someone else. We'll take an honest look regardless of who built it or what state it's in.
